Aqua-aerobics

Having cancelled my early morning group cycling session because I wasn't feeling great I got at half six to do some light stretching. I used some of the stretches I've being doing at the various classes in the past ten days. I then had breakfast and walked to work for a bit more gentle exercise.

I had hoped to go running this evening but because the weather was pretty fowl I decided to do some cycling in the garage instead. I dug out a disco light I bought sometime ago and found so 'Spinning' music on You-Tube.  The session wasn't as intense as the cycling class I did last Friday but I still felt the benefit of it afterwards.

I had an early dinner before heading to the gym for a aqua-aerobics class with my wife.  I thought it would be fairly gentle exercise but in the event it was quite hard going. The instructor was the same instructor who did the cycling session last week and she delivered the aqua class with the same energy with which she delivered the cycling class.

I found the class really enjoyable and I'll probably give it another go in the future particularly when the weather is bad of if I get an injury.
