Nice and Easy does it.
I usually take it easy on a Friday because I tend to do a lot of running at the weekend.
I did some light stretching before breakfast before walking to work. I was expecting a pretty hard day at work but in the end it wasn't two bad. I was covering for a member of staff who was out for the morning but things were pretty uneventful. I think most of the kids were knackered after being back for a week so they didn't have the energy to mess about. In the afternoon the student who has not been in a lesson for 5 months suddenly decided he wanted to go to lessons again, so we actually made it to a lesson and he even stayed in the lesson until the bell went.
After walking home I quickly dealt with a DIY jump I've been putting off all week before going into the garage for some indoor cycling. Whilst I got the lighting and the music just right I couldn't quite muster up the intensity I managed when doing the group cycling at the gym. I think I might use a stopwatch next time to try and be a bit stricter with the intense bits of cycling.
Hoping to have an early night tonight so I fit and ready to go to Parkrun before having ago at Palates.
