Parkrun Sandwich.

 After thirty minutes of seated Yoga courtesy of You Tube I headed off to my local Parkrun. Today was my first home Parkrun since getting my 250 shirt so choosing a running top was pretty easy. I was expecting it to be fairly cold today so I donned my warmest gloves and a hat.  In the event it wasn't that cold but the course was still really wet with loads of puddles.

As usual I had a steady 2km warm up lap before heading to the start.  I was hoping to do a good time today but in the end only managed 25.20. I blamed the slow time on last nights spin class. After finishing I decided to do an extra 3km to warm down. I actually felt like I was going faster on my warm down run than I had run in the Parkrun.  

Overall I was pleased with my mornings work. I then headed off home because I was expecting my new running watch to arrive but having waited in all day it failed to arrive so I will have to make do with my current one.

Tomorrow I'm planning to do a steady 10km before marshalling at junior Parkrun and then I've got a class at the gym at 11.30 before getting ready to go back to work on Monday.
